Periodic Exams & Cleanings
Periodic exams and cleanings are recommended every 6 months for both children and adults. A highly trained hygienist will scale your teeth around the gumline to remove any plaque. Sometimes the plaque can be a tough to get off and we have the latest model of the Cavitron unit in our office to help your hygienist get the job done!
Bridges are also called a fixed partial denture. A bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and are attached to surrounding teeth for support. Unlike a removable bridge or partial, which you can take out and clean, a fixed bridge can only be removed by a dentist.
Dentures have come a long way over the years. There are many options available depending on your needs and finances. Be sure and talk to one of our dentists about your best option if you're looking to completely transform your smile with a beautiful set of dentures. Find out more from the ADA here:
Extraction can sound like a scary word, but we approach our patients with sound diagnostic tools to give you the best treatment possible. Extractions are sometimes necessary to get you out of pain quickly, especially if trauma or infection are involved. Follow the advice here for a smooth recovery:
Nitrous Oxide
Sometimes referred to as laughing gas, is a safe and effective means to make you more relaxed during your dental treatment. The gas is administered in a mask over your nose. You will still be able to hear and respond to requests your hygienist or doctor may make during treatment.
Oral Sedation
If you are fearful or anxious at the dental office or if you have several treatment plans that need to be completed, oral sedation might be a great option for you! Dr. Walden has completed additional continuing education to be able to offer this service to our patients and they love having this option. Call today for an oral sedation consultation to see if you might be a good candidate.
Take Home Whitening Kits
     Traditional Trays & Bleaching Gel
     Sheer White Strips
We always recommend regular brushing and flossing to keep your teeth their healthiest and whitest. However, if you find yourself desiring a whiter smile and don't mind wearing the trays or strips at home, we'd be happy to help you with that as well. Call for pricing today!
Mouthguards are an important and often underused way to help protect that smile you have invested in over the years. See what the ADA has to say about mouthguards:
Sleep Apnea Appliances
Dr. Walden spent over two days in 2019 at the Glidewell Symposium learning techniques involving a laboratory to provide our patients with the best options available. We use the Glidewell Silent Nite and EMA anti-snoring and sleep apnea devices to help our patients achieve a better night's sleep.
